Specialist Paediatrics

Dulwich Dental Office welcomes referrals for specialist paediatric dental care for children and young people. Our team provides comprehensive assessment and treatment for children with a wide range of dental needs, including those who may find treatment particularly challenging in a general dental setting.

We accept referrals for dental caries and restorative treatment, dental trauma, developmental dental conditions, complex treatment planning, anxious or dental-phobic children, and children requiring additional support or specialist management.

Our approach is centred around making children feel safe, comfortable and confident while providing high-quality, evidence-based dental care. Where appropriate, treatment may include preventive care, fillings and restorations, management of dental decay, extractions, treatment following dental trauma and ongoing management of more complex paediatric dental conditions.

We are pleased to work closely with referring dentists and will keep you informed throughout your patient’s care. Following assessment, we will provide an appropriate treatment plan and undertake the specialist treatment requested. Once the referred course of treatment has been completed, the patient will be returned to your care, unless ongoing specialist review has been agreed.
